A selection made by Harold Pinter and Stephen Stuart-Smith of Pinter’s work from his first published pieces in 1950 through to some of his most recent poems. Pinter wrote some of these poems when he was just twenty, and some date from 1998. All twenty-nine poems testify to Pinter’s belief in the “relish, challenge, [and] excitement” of language. I Have Found a Song is a fascinating collection of poems and images published to mark the Bicentenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act.
