Letterpress Poetry Editions Offer

Posted on: Friday, February 06, 2009

To celebrate Enitharmon’s continuing tradition of publishing fine limited editions of poetry, we are delighted to offer three of our best-selling titles at a substantial discount: Thirteen Ways of Looking at Rillie by Edwin Morgan, The Takeover by Michael Hamburger and Twenty Tropes for Doctor Dark by Christopher Middleton.

Thirteen Ways of Looking at Rillie by Edwin Morgan is a signed edition limited to 120 copies. It was one of the last publications printed at the celebrated Tragara Press. The text is hand-set in Bembo type and printed on Zerkall paper; the pamphlet is elegantly bound in marbled paper wrappers.

The Takeover by Michael Hamburger, a powerful poem about a writer forbidden to write, is letterpress printed and hand-bound at The Stonehouse Press in a signed and numbered edition of 110 copies.

Twenty Tropes for Doctor Dark was written shortly before the Millennium, and letterpress printed in Austin, Texas, where Middleton is Professor of Germanic Languages and Literature.

Special Offer Price: £70 when you purchase all three books
