Helen  Dunmore

 Helen Dunmore is a poet, novelist, children's writer and short story writer. Her latest collection of poems is Glad of These Times (Bloodaxe 2007), and her new novel is The Betrayal (Fig Tree), published in spring 2010. She was the inaugural winner of the Orange Prize for Fiction, and among other prizes has won the McKitterick Prize, The Signal Award for Poetry, and the Alice Hunt Bartlett Award. Her work is translated into more than twenty-five languages. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
